Our Mission Statement
"World Hunger Team seeks to improve the health and well-being of people in poverty by enabling access to organic and sustainable nutrition and safe, clean drinking water." |
MISSION 1:
The “Tower of Life” is our patent-pending water collection and plant growing unit. It captures and stores up to 1,363 gallons of rainwater, and it provides 60 linear feet of growing trays. |
MISSION 2:
Your support is needed to complete construction of a Middle School building at the Magale Orphanage Center in Mbale, Uganda. Pre-teens and teen children at the Fountain Living Water Fellowship Mission have no school to attend, and desperately need a facility. |
MISSION 3:
Help us to buy 6 acres of land in Kampala, Uganda to establish a larger permanent “Lost Crops of Africa” Research Farm. We are testing new seed varieties and innovative natural ways to feed and nurture the crops for maximum yield, taste and nutritional value. |
MISSION 4:
Help us develop a new system of making bricks in the field using readily-available materials. Our simplified approach makes it easy for the people of an African village to make their own long-lasting, permanent bricks. This is the key to creating economical houses, schools, churches and other community buildings. |
MISSION 5:
A shocking 30% of children in Africa consume too little protein. According to the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization, “Protein deficiency causes various diseases, including kwashiorkor, which causes delayed growth and bloated bellies in children; edema, which causes swollen and puffy skin; fatty liver, which could result in liver failure; and skin, hair, nail and muscle problems.*” Experts are frustrated at finding an affordable and easily-implemented solution. We believe that the ready availability of eggs could make a huge difference. And we are creating a simple solution to raising chickens in the wild, with no outside support. We need your help! * https://allianceforscience.cornell.edu/blog/2020/07/fao-predicts-global-shortage-of-protein-rich-foods/ |
